April 16-19, 2025 | Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The Louisiana Bible Reading Marathon is a powerful event hosted by Southland Christian Ministries, held on the steps of the Louisiana Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). This marathon aims to proclaim God's Word as the ultimate authority and rule for all nations, governments, and people. Volunteers are needed to participate in the reading, where the entire Bible will be read aloud, from Genesis to Revelation. This event is a public declaration of faith, uniting Christians across Louisiana to share the Truth of God's Word with the state officials and beyond. Join Southland in this extraordinary opportunity to honor and proclaim God's message for all to hear.
There are two ways to participate in the reading; first, you can read in-person, on the steps of the Louisiana Capitol. Second, you can read virtually from anywhere in the United States. If you opt for the virtual participation, a Southland team member will call your cell phone number 5 minutes prior to your time slot. Once the call has been established, your voice will be amplified over the Capitol steps. If you would like to read for more than 15 minutes, you will need to fill out a separate form for each 15-minute time slot.
